KHALED FOUAD ALLAM is Professor of History and Institutions of Islamic Countries at the University of Trieste. Former Member of Parliament, he is now a member of the Foreign Affairs Board at the Magna Carta Foundation Research Centre.

PIALUISA BIANCO is an Advisor for the Minister of Foreign Affairs and head for the Strategic Forum at the Farnesina. A journalist and writer, she is a member of the Magna Carta Foundation Scientific Committee. President of the H.E.R.A. Foundation, Ms. Bianco formerly chaired the Italian Institute for Culture in Brussels.

SPENCER P. BOYER is Deputy Assistant U. S. Secretary of State in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs. Prior to joining the State Department, he was the Director of International Law and Diplomacy in the National Security and International Policy Department of the Center for American Progress.

VINCENZO CAMPORINI is the Italian Chief of Defense General Staff. Former Deputy Chief of Defense General Staff and Chief of Staff of the Italian Air Force, General Camporini served as Head of the Division for Military Policy and Planning in the Defense General Staff and as President of the Italian Centre for High Defense Studies.

SEBASTIANO CARDI is a Minister Plenipotentiary and Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Italy to the United States. He served as Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the Italian Senate and as Special Envoy for the Minister of Foreign Affairs for UNSC Reform.

CHENG LI is Director of Research and Senior Fellow at the John L. Thornton China Center, Brookings Institution. He focuses on the transformation of political leaders, generational change and technological development in China. Dr. Li is also Director of the National Committee on US-China Relations.

LUIGI COMPAGNA is a People of Freedom party’s Senator, Commission for Foreign Affairs. Professor of History of Political Doctrines at the Luiss-Guido Carli University in Rome, he is also a member of the Foreign Affairs Board at the Magna Carta Foundation Research Centre.

IVO H. DAALDER is the current U.S. Permanent Representative to NATO in Brussels. Ambassador Daalder was a Senior Fellow in Foreign Policy studies at the Brookings Institution and a director at the National Security Council (NSC) in the Clinton administration.

ELIZABETH DIBBLE is the Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Rome. A career member of the U.S. Foreign Service, Ms. Dibble served as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of Economic, Energy and Business Affairs, and as Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs.

JACKSON DIEHL is Deputy Editorial Page editor and a columnist for The Washington Post, specializing in foreign affairs. He has worked as a foreign correspondent for the Post in Latin America, Central Europe, and the Middle East.

DANIEL P. FATA is Vice President of The Cohen Group. He served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for European and NATO Policy, and as Policy Director for National Security and Trade on the U.S. Senate Republican Policy Committee.

OSCAR GIANNINO is one of the main columnists for several Italian newspapers, specializing in political and economic affairs. He is a member of the Bruno Leoni Institute (IBL) and of the Magna Carta Foundation Scientific Committee. He is author of many publications on economic issues.

LAWRENCE J. KORB is a Senior Fellow at the a Center for American Progress and a Senior Adviser to the Center for Defense Information. He was formerly an Assistant Secretary of Defense under the Reagan administration.

ENRICO LA LOGGIA is a Member of Parliament, People of Freedom party, Commission for Constitutional Affairs. President of the Italian Atlantic Committee and former Minister for Regional Affairs, he is also Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Palermo.

JONATHAN LAURENCE is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Boston College and a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution. He focuses on European politics and transatlantic relations.

FABRIZIO W. LUCIOLLI is General Secretary of the Italian Atlantic Committee and Professor of International Security Organizations at the Center for High Defense Studies, Italian Ministry of Defense. He is Director and Coordinator of training programs in Iraq and Serbia.

LUCIO MALAN is a People of Freedom party’s Senator, Commission for Constitutional Affairs. Member of the Italian delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, he was formerly President of the Italy-USA Foundation.

ALFREDO MANTOVANO is a State Assistant Secretary for the Ministry of Home Affairs. A former magistrate, he is a member of the Biopolitics Board at the Magna Carta Foundation Research Centre.

GIOVANNI MARIZZA is a Major General, currently chairman of a NATO planning board. Journalist and writer, he served as Director of the Institute for Higher Defense Studies, Italian Ministry of Defense, and as Deputy Commander of the Multinational Corps in Iraq.

ALBERTO MINGARDI is General Director of the Bruno Leoni Institute (IBL) and a Senior Fellow at the Centre for the New Europe in Bruxelles. Columnist for many Italian and international newspapers, he focuses on economics and political philosophy.

MAURIZIO MOLINARI is a foreign correspondent from the United States for the daily newspaper La Stampa. Expert on international and security affairs, he is a member of the Magna Carta Foundation Scientific Committee.

DOUGLAS MURRAY is Director of the Centre for Social Cohesion (CSC), a non-partisan think tank in London, focused on the radicalization and extremism within Great Britain. He is also a columnist for many newspapers and magazines, and appears regularly across the British and foreign broadcast media.

FIAMMA NIRENSTEIN is a Member of Parliament, People of Freedom party, and Vice President of the Commission for Foreign Affairs. A journalist and writer, Ms. Nirenstein was a foreign correspondent from Israel for the Italian newspapers La Stampa and Il Giornale. Her main area of expertise is the Middle East.

CARLO PANELLA is one of the main columnist on Il Foglio and l’Occidentale, specializing in foreign affairs. He is author of many publications about the Middle East and Islam.

DANIELLE PLETKA is Vice President for foreign and defense policy studies at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI). She served for ten years as a senior professional staff member for the Near East and South Asia on the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations.

GAETANO QUAGLIARIELLO is the Honorary President of the Magna Carta Foundation and Vice President for the People of Freedom party at the Italian Senate. Professor of Contemporary History at the Luiss-Guido Carli University in Rome, he has written and edited many publications on historical and political issues.

BENIAMINO QUINTIERI is Commissioner General for Italy for the Shanghai 2010 Universal Exhibition. Professor of International Economics at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, he is President of the Manlio Masi Foundation - the National Observatory for Internationalization and Trade.

UMBERTO RANIERI is Professor of History of the International Relations at La Sapienza University in Rome. Former Member of Parliament, he served as a State Assistant Secretary for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. SALVATORE REBECCHINI is a member of the Italian Antitrust Authority and coordinator of the Magna Carta Foundation Research Centre. He was formerly President of the Italian Infrastructure Fund and of the Deposits and Loans Fund.

STEFANO STEFANINI is the current Italian Permanent Representative to the NATO Council in Brussels. Ambassador Stefanini served as Deputy Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the Republic of Italy, and as Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Italy in the United States.

FRANCESCO VALLI is the President of the Magna Carta Foundation. Entrepreneur and Chairman of British American Tobacco Italia, he is the founder of the on line daily l’Occidentale.

MARCO VICENZINO is Director of the Global Strategy Project (GSP). He served as a strategic advisor for the World Bank's External Relations Unit, and as Deputy Executive Director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies-US (IISS-US) in Washington.

VICTOR ZASLAVSKY is Professor of Political Sociology at the LUISS-Guido Carli University in Rome. A distinguished historian, author of many publications, he formerly taught at the University of Leningrad, Memorial University (St. John's, Canada), University of California (Berkeley), and Stanford University.
